Static gave her the biggest grin, nodding a little. “She is, she has the oddest fascination for those princess stories with the dragons in them. Wish I could find old books to show her, but i can act them out now! Go on, sis, trust me she’ll be so excited.”
She’s always been a weird one, must get it from her mother.
*She chuckled before heading towards the back rooms. She gently knocked on the door before walking in. She smiled and headed over to Phe, smiling. She kissed her forehead.*
Hey, little angel.
*She spoke quietly, she didn’t really want to wake her up.*
“Auntie Kay?” She murmured quietly, Static smiling as her little girl stretched on the worn cot and waved, trying to rub the sleep out of her eyes.
*Lights looked at Static*
You told her my real name.
*She smiled and turned back to Phe, gently rubbing her arm*
Take it slowly, sweetheart. I have a little present for you.
*She put the dragon in her hands.*
You always loved them as a baby. Momma told me you still do.
“Hi Mama!” Phe’s face lit up, holding the toy close and snuggling it. “Yeahyeah, Mama says you’re sisters an’ you’s Katy but never EVER to say it to ANYONE.” Static just about cracked up at the look on Light’s face, leaning her head against the worn wood.
